I did not feel great about my Lillard alternatives so I was real glad he was there.

I thought you got a steal with the Admiral at 12, and Dame is an absolutely bat-**** crazy perfect compliment.

Midge in shambles right now.

When I saw Admiral slip and get close to me I was so excited and then saw Rob's trade to drop down and grab him with a much better drafting spot and thought goddam we're screwed. To get Dame with him is an incredible start. I thought about Dame over Jrue but wanted to start with two defenders. Probably will regret it.

I had that trade worked out before the very first pick of the draft was made under the condition that Admiral or one other player would be available at 12. It’s pretty close to ADP for him or the other player. I think Jordan is still probably better value but I’ve been wanting to try Admiral and this other player for a long time.

Mailman and Russell is a great kick off to counteract the worst Savage in my short history here. Focusing on minutes early and prioritizing the 100 defense makes Russell the ultimate antidote to last season's malaise. Malone/Russell's core strength on top of min/def is the stealthy ast% advantage. This will help later on as backcourt formation takes shape. I will need to be careful about eFG. Russell is an obvious drag, and Malone isn't really a specialist there (especially with the newer seasons changing the bar), although he's efficient overall, its more volume based.

Gerry’s team is looking familiar. Great minds think alike.

George, Bird and Wallace provide a lot of good things but I’m nervous about the lack of efg.

I considered it last season but ultimately abandoned the idea after mocking through it... but ty coming out of the first three rounds with no big men is extremely bold... it gets pretty barren for elite defending bigs after the first couple of rounds.
