Well, the sooner he is gone, the better off we will be. But it's going to be difficult with a GOP House and Senate. Maybe after the mid-terms, because you KNOW there's going to be a backlash, just like in the mid-terms of Obama's first term.
The backlash is definitely coming, but NOT against Trump; against all the hate-filled obstructionists more concerned with witch hunting than with doing their jobs. The Dems are a Party in disarray right now - no direction and no leadership. They aren't winning anything if they don't change their focus.
I agree that the Democratic Party is in disarray with no direction or leadership.
The "hate-filled obstructionists" learned their lessons well from the Tea Party in 2010-2016, which destroyed the GOP and poured the foundation for the clusterfuck of an Executive Branch that we have in place right now.
As far as a witch hunt . . . not everything being reported is the "fake news" that the Trumplings believe it is, because The Orange One decreed it.
The problem for the media is that a lot of it is fake news, and they ARE losing credibility (which was at one time iron clad)
There is some validity to this. I'm not a Trump supporter but, as soon as one "scandal" is found to be nothing, another pops up before the door is closed on the previous one. I posted a Chicken Little in the crazy liberal thread and could post The Boy who cried Wolf in this one. It's just non-stop and it's hard to care about the next one.
But, realistically, there is only one scandal (and one offshoot) and neither have been found to be nothing.
There are at least three investigations into the campaign's relationship with Russia and now there is an investigation into Trump's possible obstruction of those investigations.
(CNN)A representative from President Donald Trump's legal team said Trump is not under investigation, despite the President tweeting "I am being investigated" this week.
The lawyer, Jay Sekulow, contended the tweet was not a confirmation of the investigation, but instead a response to a report in The Washington Post.
"That tweet was in response to a Washington Post story that ran with five unnamed sources," Sekulow said in an interview that aired Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union."
