Miami seemed on the verge of taking complete control until that INT.....entire feel to the game switched after that

How about Richt losing his mind before half. I missed very few UGA games in the 14 years he coached there and never saw him do anything like that.

Wisconsin may not be the most talented team, but they're pretty damn good. I hadn't seen them play all year until the OSU game, but I have been impressed. They do a lot of the little things right.

No idea how he didn't get tossed after the KY RB got the boot for far less aggressive touching a ref.

That is a pretty typical Wisconsin team. Hard nosed tough smash mouth football. Been that way for years.

Power football. Heavy use of FB. Speed on DL and RB but not much speed at WR or other defense spots. They just grind you out.

BTW, Pac 12 finished 1-8, which the worst finish of any major conference with at least 5 games ever. And the 1 win was Utah who went 3-6 in conference and won an unaffiliated bowl. Just an awful performance.

As I've said on this thread in general few bowl games really matter in the overall scheme of things. Teams have different motivations, different excitement levels, some travel far and some are basically home, etc.

there are some games though where you would expect going in to have basically equal level of play. The Cotton Bowl tonight is one of those games.

also, while an individual game here and there probably doesnt matter, you can certainly make broad generalizations of a conference if it dominates or totally ***** the bed.

Harbaugh and Muschamp are two of the most intense coaches in CFB. No way would their teams loaf thru the bowl season.
