Sure he's a useful player, but it's a misnomer to call him a beast until he can get his team to actually win a few games.
He makes the difference between his team being god awful and very, very bad. Also the Wolves lose close games all the damn time, because KLove Superstar is worthless at the end of games since he can't create on offense or make an impact on defense. The Magic have the same issue with Dwight Howard and consistently underperform their pythag, except the main difference is that Dwight and dregs gets 50+ wins whereas K-Love + dregs gets you 17.
If he really wanted to play to his maximum potential, he has to focus less on rebound whoring and more on defense. But then, of course, you'd want to blow him less because 31/15 isn't as impressive as 31/20, so instead you can just sit back and enjoy the big fantasy stats, copious 4 point losses, and not too many wins.
