I see no point in putting a team in the top 25 that has about zero chance of finishing there.    I see 5 losses on the schedule and they might finish with 7.   That's a pretty tough route to the top 25.

Yeah, overreaction.    Hence the thread title.

clearly the Jacksonville St. game was not a fluke, LSU is putting a beating on Auburn.

Ohio St. with yet another turnover.  Very sloppy offensive game from them.

Beating Nebraska doesn't seem like a big deal anymore, BYU.

The offensive execution was disappointing, and Ed Warinner's play calling was downright stupefying. I really miss Tom Herman.

Certainly not as impressive as following-up an OT win against Jax St. with a 24 point loss, but I'm sure Auburn still deserves a Top 25 spot, based on what you think they might be able to do the rest of the season.

Some interesting scores thus far in the later games.  Stanford appears headed to victory at USC.  TCU is struggling with SMU.  Bama losing to Ole Miss at the half.  BYU up on UCLA at the end of the 1st quarter.

Georgia has been the only top 10 team to have an easy victory basically from the kick off.  Every other team lost or was in a battle for pretty much the whole game (obviously UCLA could still turn it on against BYU, but thus far they are losing).

I'm sure Mike will have Alabama ahead of Mississippi again just like he did last year after their game.

While I appreciate you two clowns deciding what I'll say before I say it, I think the teams from AL need to sort some things out(at QB in particular) before they need to be included in the playoff picture.    As it stands, LSU might win the West.    Not buying Ole Miss again so, if that makes you feel better, it is what it is.

OSU and MSU 1 and 2 in the AP, TCU is still 2nd in the Coaches.

Week 2
OSU has QB problems
Alabama is done
Ole Miss is a playoff team
TCU has no D
UCLA is the best team in PAC12

Agree on OSU and Bama.

Not sure the others are overreactions.  Ole Miss has looked awful good through 3 games.  TCU was never going to have a very good defense, not sure how it is a overreaction to say that, especially given their D has been pretty bad.   A lot of people picked UCLA to win the Pac 12 in the preseason, so those people are just being validated (if they were right).

Ole Miss is overrated.   U TN-Martin and Fresno State are not "good" wins.   They're just wins.    Bama ran 100 plays to 65, ran for over 200 yards(Ole Miss less than 100), threw for almost 300 yards.     Kelly completed 18 of 33.    Ole Miss won on two big pass plays(one on a bad snap/throwaway attempt that somehow bounced around and ended up in a WR's hands) and poor QB play from Bama(3 picks).    Bama beat them up.

TCU's D isn't as bad as it looks.   They score fast so the D spends too much time on the field.   They don't have the depth for that.

PAC12 is deep with very good teams.   Picking a "best" right now is folly.    As I said before the season started, I think Oregon wins it with 2 losses.
