Sadly, the formula for expected win% always gets skewed due to blowouts, specifically, those 38-2 games where mop-ups pitch tired. As a result, the overall total is -24.0 games. If you are one of those guys who uses mop-ups a lot to save your good pitchers, you will look like you are very lucky, And similarly, if you don't use mop-ups but happen to face a few of them, you will look very unlucky.

Unfortunately, I don't have a way to get everybody's record in 1-run games, which would be a better measure.

Based on the table, I am the 11th unluckiest owner. But I checked my game scores in all six leagues, and I'm on the winning end of 43-3, 25-0 & 28-8 scores. I haven't lost any games by those types of scores. Then I checked my W-L records in 1-run games and I'm slightly on the lucky side overall (33-28). So although this run-differential-based measure is one way to look at luck, it's far from perfect.

$140M team currently on an 0-10 roll (and only one of those losses were by 1 run). $70M team just won a game and broke their own 0-10 run - and they WERE in first place before it started. Overall, I was off to a pretty good start but in the matter of only a few days, I've gone from 37th overall to 70th (back where I'm used to being).

Hopefully, things start evening out and I can get a little lucky...

Apparently 2015 Clayton Kershaw is the equivalent of a mop-up pitcher. 7.27 ERA and 1.58 whip through 60IP in the walks and homer league...although he has a better WHIP than my 1995 Greg Maddux who somehow has a 1.67 WHIP but a nifty 6.27 ERA. Absolutely ridiculous. In a home park that has negative singles and doubles too.

That's interesting. For my 140M team (playing in Riverfront), Kershaw ('14 version) is my best pitcher, mostly coming out of the bullpen. His stats:
19 G, 3 GS, 52 IP, 40 H, 2 HR, 14 BB, 58 K, 206 OAV, 1.04 WHIP, 2.25 ERA

My other relievers are getting trashed though...
C.Meredith 11 IP, .365 OAV, 1.82 WHIP, 9.00 ERA (7 HRs allowed)
M.Adams 8.1 IP, .316 OAV, 2.16 WHIP, 11.88 ERA
H.Wilhelm 10.1 IP, .347 OAV, 2.13 WHIP, 9.58 ERA

I'm getting decent results in that league. Starter WHIPs are 1.25 (Kershaw), 1.31 (Unit), 1.32 (Pedro) and 1.47 (Arrieta).

Miller (1.74 WHIP), Capps (2.34 WHIP) and Sale 1.78 WHIP) are getting roughed up in the bullpen, but Chapman (1.25), Kimbrel (1.30), Wagner (1.17) and Milacki (1.18) are all doing well.

The following table shows the divisional W-L% (vs. other divisions) for each owner and in each league. Since each team has played 12 divisional games, it was easy to remove that from the calculation. By summing up the six leagues for each owner, you can see who are in the toughest divisions. Note that there is built in bias, since the top owners are always in their own division.

For the Divisional Toughness #: Why not remove the win% of the owner for whom you are calculating the Divisional Toughness?

If I had the W-L records of each team within their division, I could do that. But without that, I would have to just add up total wins in your division minus your total wins. But that shifts the bias to the other side of the equation.

I'm slowly sliding below .500, but at least it's at a reasonable pace (and with 4 teams above .500). The last couple of years, that's happened within a week.
Also I see that the first owner in alphabetical order is in first place overall (and by a healthy distance, too). I'm grateful that that doesn't apply to the end of the list as well!
