1901 Davy Jones with a .674 OPS and 64 PA has already won me two games. One as a pinch-runner with winning run on a single and now with an extra-inning homer.
It's enough to make you a Daydream Believer.

Is there a prize for most losses across all leagues?

I was so close to having my first 4-2 set of games. But both Bobby Grich and Rudy York were ejected early for arguing balls and strikes and we blew a lead late. lol

My teams might be bad…

I prefer lower caps, where my 70/80/100 are 8-16. My 110/120/140 are 18-6. Go figure..

Quote from j4m:

"But, along these lines, and as a result of these conversations, I’ve entered two teams into what should be competitive leagues. One with 1,044 IP in a $60m OL. The other with 1,101 IP in a $90m TOC advantage league. Neither team has a mopup and both play in hitters parks. I plan to use IP stretching and fatigue mitigation strategies simultaneously."

The 90M TOC league is mine and is filling for its 5th season. It has several good owners and is very competitive, comparing well with WISC leagues. There are currently 6 spots open if any of you are interested.

Sorry for the plug, just thought some of you might like the great competition.

I also joined this league with 1162IP (+36 mop up IP)

Much needed schwarze after starting in the lower half..

Kudos

My $70M adventure is 3-9, throwing away the first 2 with mop SP, allowing 41 runs. Since then we're -6 run differential, so it's not horrendous. To this point the fatigue is reasonably manageable. It could get nasty with some early exits by SP that should be working 6-7 per start...I may put them on a "1" pull so they do what's necessary...

would very highly recommend the 1 pull setting when you are short on innings

another hack is to set all your relievers to not be available until the ninth, then it won't pull your starters before he hits his max even if he's getting shelled

Yes we will use all available options to make this work. I don't mind mopping a few games in the first 50 to kill the fatigue...I also float SP in and out of the pen to aid the relievers. Appearance fatigue isn't going to be an issue.

Three teams 26-10, the other three 13-23. They all need to pull on one end of the rope...

All my teams have 6-7 wins. Pretty certain we’re about to turn in the right direction with a few of those…the 140 team I’m not so certain about.

1415 IP pitching staff completely destroyed in the 80 million, started with a 15 inning game, then an 18 inning game and an 11 inning game in the first 6 games.
