As we near the start of Round 25, a few quick programming notes:
  • When you post your Rd 25 pick, please include in the post the total salary of your 25-man roster. If you've been building your team in the draft center along the way, this should be very easy.
  • If your total salary is over $100M, please include in the post the name and salary of the player who will be "sacrificed" to get you under the cap and the $200K player you have chosen to replace him. This should be the player with the salary closest to (but still more than) the amount you are over the cap plus $200K (to account for the salary of his replacement). He will be replaced by the first player alphabetically in the WIS database who plays the same position and has a salary of exactly $200K.
  • Remember to consider the ballpark you wish to play in. You don't have to declare this yet, but you can only choose a ballpark that one of your players called home in the season you drafted. The home ballpark of each team in each era will be as it is listed here: https://www.whatifsports.com/mlb-l/ballparks.asp?lid=1. If your player's home ballpark is not in the WIS database, you cannot use it, and you cannot substitute another ballpark (i.e., no WhatIfSports Park).

In the rules, you stated "If your roster is over the cap at the end of the draft, I will insist that you modify your roster with $200K players to get under the cap in the fewest moves possible." You didn't say anything about being assigned a player. I assumed I could choose my $200,000 player. Kind of late to add a rule. I'm already using Dave Rader at catcher instead of mickey Cochrane. Isn't that punishment enough.
Okay, that's fine. If you go over the cap, you can choose your $200K player.

I'll amend the post above.
