OK, I guess I didn't get banned -- they just deleted a post criticizing the half-assed nature of how the new engine was rolled out and trying to fix bugs by tweaking on the fly. Oh and how their responses have ****** me off more than the the bugs to the new engine.

Sorry for the delay guys.  I have had the challenge designed for a while now, but I am having a bit of a problem with part of it, as it is hosted outside of this site.  I'm going to try to make it work but if not I will just have to omit what I'm working on and simplify the challenge.  I will put something up ASAP

Challenge 22 – Brains Meets Braun

Friday’s Challenge will be a combination of both BRAIN and SPORTS.

Part 1:  The Brain

This part of the challenge was going to be much more difficult, but I couldn't finish what I wanted to do, so you all luck out.  The way it is now, you have  7 questions relating to the 80s located on a website which I have sitemailed to each of you. (I am not posting in the thread to try to prevent off-island help, I will post it here after your answers are submitted). They are a mixture of questions between music and sports from the 80s..  Every time you answer a question correctly, a new CODE will appear on the next page for the next question.  Answer as many as you can, and make sure you submit to me the final code that you get to with your picks.  All answers should be entered in lower case.

Part 1 (cont) :Pick any Hockey team that plays on Friday night.  For part 1 you will get the number of goals scored multiplied by the amount of questions you are able to answer correctly above. 

 

Part 2:   There are four college football teams playing Friday Night: Northern Illinois, Miami (OH), Illinois, and Fresno State

Choose two teams, and guess the amount of points that each of the two teams you selected will score.  You will score -1 for each point you are off for each of your teams.

 

Total combined score from Part 1 and Part 2 will get immunity.

 Picks due by 6:00 PM CENTRAL

Tiebreaker 1:  Most correct answers in the BRAIN Section of the challenge
Tiebreaker 2: Passing Yards for Illinois
Tiebreaker 3: Order of submission

Not sure if I'm doing it wrong, but when I put answer in for #1 it says I'm right, but then doesn't make it to page 2- error page not found.
