lol
Means a lot coming from the guy who thinks Melo is not a top 20 player in the league.

don't really think you're in a position to talk ****, seeing that you can't discern between dwight howard and kevin love.  that sort of indicates that you have zero grasp on the NBA and are probably wrong about everything, so you shouldn't invest too much in your opinion.

fwiw minny's supporting cast is worse, because it's terrible, but orlando's isn't all that much better.  i really doubt that the wolves with dwight minus love would finish < .500, probably 45 wins sounds right.

and in case you were curious, dwight = one of the most dominant defensive players of all time, love = turnstile on D who sacrifices performance to pad his rebounding stats.

lol at trying to use a 2 game sample here.  just lol.

Love to get you "experts" in a tizzy.   So give me numbers then.  How many wins do Luke, Beasley, Darko and Howard get?

45?!  You've got to be kidding.   You really think Howard get's 45 wins on that team in the Western Conference?   25 sounds closer to reality.

You might want to go back and look at the advanced stats of Howard's teammates, especially during his title run.  Do you know what eFG is?

If you don't think Gortat, Rashard Lewis, Ryan Anderson, Jameer, Reddick, JRich and yes even Hedo are>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> over Minny's pathetic dreck I wonder who it is that can't discern quality of players.

I'll give you 10-15 wins due to Dwight's D, but that's about it.  And yes I understand defense is of the utmost importance and KLove doesn't play it.   I just don't think it would make a huge difference on that team.

omg omg omg what's eFG please teach me more.

dwight howard is like auto top 5 defense, so i seriously doubt that you could surround him with players bad enough to be < .500, even if it's the t'wolves cast

of course orlando's supporting cast is better than minny's, but it's not really that good.  they have a few pretty good shooters and NOTHING else.  lol at dwight ever being on a 25 win team, he'd win 35 with 4 WNBA players by his side.

and you're not really working up anyone into a tizzy, you're just saying retarded things and appropriately getting lolled at.

Gortat and JRich never played together in Orlando.

Gortat was traded for the washed up version of Hedo and JRich.

Yes, yes I know.  Howard played alongside the "HGH" version of Rashard Lewis and Turk was very solid as a Kukoc type player.  Jameer is what, top 10 guard?  Again look at the Minny roster.  Would you play D for an extra 10 wins?

I'm not crazy enough to say Love is better than Howard, I'm saying that Minny is so bad it doesn't matter, and Love has enough offense and rebounding to win a playoff game in the east.

there's this thing, it's called defense

Hollinger's analysis:

"The one sticking point is that he's still a poor defensive player. Love's Synergy numbers were pretty solid, but you'd have a hard time explaining why. He was 62nd out of 70 power forwards in both blocks and steals per minute, while his owning the lowest foul rate at his position is more a condemnation of his effort than a positive sign. Love is slow in transition D, often doesn't rotate out on switches, and struggles to guard long post players."

Wait did someone say Jameer Nelson was a top 10 guard?

o.O

The year of his injury when they went to the Finals, he shot an eFG of 580 and scored in the 20's more often than not.

Perhaps not top 10, but he absolutely had to be accounted for.  Of course maybe that was just the deer antler velvet.

That was a pretty special stretch of 1300 regular season minutes.

Too bad it's over and hasn't nearly been replicated in the past 2 years.

In other news, Greg Oden is basically as good as Dwight Howard so it's a good thing Portland locked him up for so cheap this year!

Watching Paul and Rose go at each other last night was the most fun I've had watching an NBA game in a long time.  Shame it's the only time all season it's going to happen.
