Missouri hasn't played Kentucky.  Missouri beat Connecticut 9-6, but wouldn't that be a 1 week overreaction.

Last time I checked Missouri was the 2 time defending East champ.  Hard to write them off when they haven't yet lost a game this year.  Couple that with a fairly easy SEC schedule and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Missou once again in the SEC title game.  Or they could be awful and lose a bunch a games.

Goddammit.  I knew they beat some slop team 9-6.     They play KY this week.

Mauk is way too inconsistent for them to be in the SEC East championship talk.   Of course, I think it's Georgia and Georgia competing for the East title.   So there's that.

I will assume you saw little of UT-OU....as heartbreaking the outcome was, the fact is the Vols dominated the game for 3 quarters and lost mostly because the coaching staff went deer in the headlights and played in 100% 'lets not blow this' mode


Beating Georgia is entirely realistic.

Next year.   TN has no chance against GA this year.

SEC losses on Mizzou's schedule....

Georgia, Mississippi State, Tennessee

Tennessee and Miss. St. are both in Missouri.  I wouldn't just mark those off as losses.  They go to Georgia, but last time they played in Georgia Missouri won that game (they lost last year at home). 

I believe Georgia will win the East, I'm just not ready to write Missouri off and I wouldn't be surprised if Tennessee wins beats Georgia this weekend and has the early track on the division.  Any one of the three are more than capable of being fodder for the western team in the SEC title game.
