That's terrible luck. I'm facing a bit of pitching fatigue on 3 teams because of extra innings. One has 3 extra inning games and 2 for the others. Nothing that can't be straightened out in another 2-4 games (w/o other extra inning gms). My 70M modern team's bullpen is overworked as most of my SP have
5.1 - 6 IP/G numbers. I may have to stretch their pitch counts a bit for the next few games .

1415 IP pitching staff completely destroyed in the 80 million, started with a 15 inning game, then an 18 inning game and an 11 inning game in the first 6 games.
Try stretching out your starters a bit for a few games. Throw some in relief. You should be able to straighten it out. Use 06gsp’s advice with the pull setting and available inning 9. Or even rest them

thanks, ive definitely upped the starters pitch count..and hopefully i can get the relievers back from the brink of the spiral using the available inning trick! in the meantime that team has blown about 8 games in the 9th inning lol.

our 70 million staff is getting destroyed with several guys massively underachieving, serves me right for criticizing other people's strategy

These leagues are notorious for dishing out some nasty fatigue issues. Grin and bear it, it's survival until lap 30 or so. Grandma, put your teeth in your pocketbook, it's gonna get crazy!

24-12 over last 6 cycles...hopefully it's a trend we can continue

Oh yay! My first ever Schwarze! Great to be within spitting distance of the cage, early as it is.......

Just about every round I have is 3-3..

On the verge of a fatigue death spiral in 2 leagues, both where I have somewhere around 1,350 innings. Seriously underestimated the fatigue impact in those leagues.

My suggestion is to put a mop or cheap pitcher to start, set on max innings, pull at 1, set all other pitchers at 99, 9th inning. Might need a few of those to give arms a few games to rebound. Better to sacrifice a few for the many...monitor and adjust after every game through game 35 or 40, then fatigue will begin subside.

Great suggestions - depending how severe it is, you can also put one guy as starter 170pc/max 1 pull and another as setup A with same settings and available in the 7th. All others on rest. This should give you some cushion in case the starter gets injured early

There is an update from Jordan regarding the game update/rewrite. I posted a link in the sim league forums. They are making progress...

thanks for the tips Doc. Will give that a shot. I've already burned my mop-up guys in both. On to other cheap pitchers next. Ugh!!!

Don’t burn anyone else. Just throw your mop ups even if they’re at 0%. If you have multiple set one as starter one as setup

They're much more prone to injury, but worth a try...
