I'm in hardcore rebuilding mode and I'm really hoping to have a decent team next season, so I'm willing to start any and all freshman this year (again - had 21 Fr starters last year). To compound matters, I had only 3 recruits within 100 miles (none of which I was interested in) ... 35 within 250 miles (the only decent ones weren't high potential) and 104 within 360 miles (no one worth recruiting).
From what I have read so far, the SIM, given that they have won fewer games in the past 3 seasons than me, has spent at least the same amount of money as me on this recruit so far, and will continue to spend at the same pace every cycle until the guy is signed? How could I possibly outspend this SIM? I learned some valuable lessons regarding prestige when it came to recruiting during my two seasons at D3, so I've learned not to battle against teams with a much higher prestige than me.
