Should KC plunk Bautista because he's a jerk? Topic

To be clear, it wasn't about drilling an 8 y/o in the face. It was to protect yourself from a guy coming in "hot". Your protection is the ball. Only saw one guy get hit. Everybody else got down.

Just an example of what a dirty slide actually looks like. Spikes up and all.

In my opinion, if Bautista wanted to make a statement he should have gone to the mound, not first base.

The dude on the mound kills people.

If you walk slow enough the catcher and umpire will get in the way

Perhaps you don't understand the chain of events.

Bautista hotdogs a homer. Rangers ******.
Bautista gets drilled. Bautista ******.
Bautista makes a hard slide. Odor ******.
Fight.

Everyone knew what would happened after the hotdog homer.
Everyone knew Bautista would be ****** after the drilling.
He would either go at the pitcher or try to take out the MIF.
Odor wasn't having it.

Not too much of a mystery as to why you are called 'The Taint'. You probably haven't noticed yet, but you've brought up that Matt Bush almost killed a guy like 10 times and no one reacted.

Bottom line is this: Bautista had it coming. If he got to wait (checks older post) " seven months, seven games, and 33 plate appearances" to get what was coming to him, then so be it. He looks like a punk now. A little, punk *** second baseman took it to his grill. And its gotten millions - probably billions - of views. Everyone knows he's a *****.

I will say this, Kevin Pillar and Donaldson are ******* beasts. They took on 4 guys each. Tore right into the middle of the scrum.

Isn't it past your bedtime?

If you don't want someone flipping a bat, don't give up an HR. Like the thread said, Harper is right.

I can't stand Bautista or the Jays by the way.

Point stands, don't **** with a dude who whacks fools.

**** Texas. Bunch of little *******.

I understand it. I think it's pussification at it's best waiting till the last AB of the last series. WE can agree to disagree.

The Rangers are a bunch of *******. Saw it earlier this year when the Mariners took Wilhelmsen to the woodshed. **** em.

I'll assume BL is referring to the ESPN article that came out today.

Harper's a classless arrogant punk. I evaluate his opinions within that context. STFU Bryce.
You're exactly who he was talking about. Old white dude who thinks it's "classless" to celebrate a home run.
Oh ****! A shot at MikeT!

Celebrate a HR is fine. But if you celebrate in a moment when its 'classless' expect to get thrown at.

So was Bautista's moment to celebrate a "classless spot", or does doing it in game 5 of a playoff series allow it? If not then, when?

It is actually 21 mins past my bed time.

All the sorry Rangers do is remain relevant - after what? 30 years of not being relevant? Not sure why you are hating on them.

As for Bautista, sure he hit a HR and flipped a bat. For who? For what? He got a ring? Nice neckbeard. You gonna flip your bat and be a clown, prepare to see some retaliation.

See the post above yours. Your own words.

In what situation were you talking about where it's ok to celebrate a bit? If not the situation where the flip occurred, where?

the rangers relevant? Lol

So what Bautista flipped his bat? Shouldn't have given up the home run.
So what Bautista got drilled in the ribs? Shouldn't have flipped the bat.

Retaliation and fights are some of my favorite moments in baseball. I guess I'm just a violent person then. I like big hits and fights. I guess I should watch UFC then
