That's a real cockamamie pick, I tell ya.

Yeah, he blows...nice pick. We've had worse.

The 20 game position player rule should be called the Dick Allen rule. Someone drafted him to be a second baseman once, the guy crapped his pants whenever the ball was hit to him, made hundreds of errors. I'm all for drafting crummy players, but this way they at least know which hand the glove goes on. ..

Looks like we have spent $55,309,830 of a possible $61M, so we've saved approx $5.7M towards x-factor players...

The pre-draft maximum we could have spent was $101M, so we currently have almost $25M to spend on our 2 gems. ..more than we have normally had, but this is playing at a higher cap, and with escalating salaries to boot.
