as the clock winds down on the second pick of the first round people look concerned - the desk with the sharpie pen, hand written, sign that reads 'copernicus' remains empty - man enters from back of room, dark Ray Bans, flip flops, rugger shorts, dirty oversized T-shirt, bathrobe, White Russian in hand walks up to the desk, " so is Mike available, man?" turns around singing quietly to self 'sometimes I dream' continues to mumble famous advertising lyrics "you've got to see that's what I..." as he walks back out of the room - pauses at the door, "so like, how long do you guys think this is going to be until I have to do something again?" other owners roll eyes, pinch brows, drop pens, sigh in exasperation, or simply just return to their boards.

This stuff is pure gold. Pure. *******. Gold.

We're down to the last few picks of the second round as Rachel Nichols interviews owner ‘copernicus’ in the hallway just outside the war room. She asks “so copernicus, any thoughts on this next pick?” owner “copernicus” still wearing bathrobe and dark Ray Bans, sips at White Russian leaving a bit of it on his mustache, responds, “copernicus? Look, let me explain something to you man, I’m not copernicus. I’m the monk. So that’s what you call me. That or His Monkness, or e-monk or monyet or El Chesterino, if, you know, you’re not into the whole brevity thing… oh, yeah and I guess I am also copernicus too so huh...?" {pauses} "I'm sorry man, what was your question?”

Nichols: "ok, let's try again, some people have questioned your decision to take MJ with the second pick overall, do you have any thoughts on that?"
copernicus:"well, like, that's just, like, their opinion, man..."

Rachel nods and is about to walk away, 'copernicus' says, "hold up though, is Mookie still out there? He is? That's awesome, man and then I just can come back out here and wait for my pick on the turn, right?"

I was getting a huge Lebowski vibe reading that, and then when you said White Russian I'm like - oh, that was on purpose. Ha! Good stuff, His Monkness.

"who somehow has managed to bring 6 computers to the owner room. He is dressed like Neo from the Matrix and as the camera zooms in on his setup, we see different algorithms running up and down each computer in green."

This is pretty good, funny bit. They all were. Also, I currently have 9 active computers in my house, so somewhat fitting.

we had a strong owner here for a while who claimed to work at Elias and intimated that they had some 60s stats, Tracyr? maybe?

I know tracyr very well, or at least I did back in the day. We met irl. He used to be a database admin for Elias, not sure if he still is or not. We lost touch when Shtickless went dormant.

I have almost 25 minutes (about 14 pages) written so far. Hoping to have a complete draft done by Friday. Does anyone want access to the finished stuff early? I'd like some feedback. What works/doesn't work. Stuff like that.

First draft for episode 12 is almost completely done. Anyone want to take a look and give opinions?

Probably won’t finish today. dB is under the weather and I have writer’s block. Might release what we have for the first round later tonight as a preview. In the mean time, check out the intro to episode 7.

Are these gonna be journalistic ie both sides of the story? Because the Sim Devil episode could get VERY interesting if so!
