curious, do you mean 'the beauty of uptempo vs-press' here? because there is some real beauty there. d2/d3 are sort of ghost towns where most teams run press, so perhaps the distinction is not super critical down there. but in d1 it very much is.

to each their own, but uptempo vs-press is a great thing while uptempo press is a highly dubious one. you have a real good team for an uptempo straight press, and you played all press teams, so that more or less works out. not really the same story when you are playing equally deep man teams and such.

My Tranny team would’ve put on a show for you Gill. Nothing but beautiful uptempo fastbreak/zone into D3 press teams all day.

Except we ran into a surprising number of tough man teams. Surprising for how much everyone (and I) assumed that D3 is press central.
