Why do some players sign immediately in free agency ( and seemingly take the first offer they get ) , yet others will wait the entire FA, even if you are the high bidder through the whole process?

will  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Rick Hayes get another injury boost?  He is just now eligible to be off the DL, but only got one bosst and I am at game 135+, should I keep him on the DL for another potential boost or will it not come?

Asswiping comes with a surcharge.

I have no idea why some wait.  It's possible that they've received other, lesser offers.    That's what I've always assumed.

He should get another around game 155-158.

Asking about the draft. I had a guy turn down his first offer, and I don't quite have enough money to make it all the way to his new asking price. I'm not too upset losing the guy, but he's still pretty good, so I'd like to make him an offer at about 90% of his new asking price. Will that endanger the prospect of a Type D pick?

If he repeatedly offers that same offer over and over again, what do think are the chances that his draftee eventually signs?

I've seen it happen.   If I were going to offer 90%, I'd re-offer it every cycle.

Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Alex Monroe is ready to come off the 60-day DL, but he hasn't received a 2nd bump yet.  How long should I leave him on the 60-day DL in hopes of a 2nd injury bump?

I would.   You're 17 games up in your division and that's a "good" injury for a pitcher.

Whats this 2nd bump you all are talking about. I was under the impression off the DL a player only got MOST of his points back preinjury. do attributes increase the longer theyre on the DL, even if theyre healthy?

Working on my draft today and have come up with 70 desired players - ranked anywhere from 1 to 329 on my list of 500. At that point is it as simple as moving all 70 up to rankings to #1 through 70, or is there another way you sort/organize them?
