Thanks eleibowitz. Notice that I finally won with the guy from my first season here that I took all the heat from everyone for drafting. If he falls back to me in the 3rd then there is no doubt I'd give him another run this time as well. Ironically I opted not to post my numbers from this last draft. After losing 50 games in the season prior with a team I thought would win the division that I actually drafted myself I figured I'd keep my yap shut (although I do recall telling badja when he selected me #1 overall that "this team has 50+ wins written all over it"). I had a ton of luck finally and I now better realize the fine line between winning it all and having a losing record here. I'll share my data again this time but will be presenting my predictions from a more refined perspective.

Pick incoming...I'm torn between who I want and who I think is the best value at this pick. 

The heart knows what the heart wants. He beat me in the finals...now he's MINE. I know it's early, but he fits what we need and don't want to risk him lasting for 40 more picks (sorry, nate). I had a hard time not choosing PLAYER X, who seems to have fallen this far for whatever reason. However, I didn't like how it affected our usage layout. Bean is the last guy left who fits this exact role on our squad.

Congrats Nate.  Don't feel so bad about losing in 6 now....

Ash beat me 5-3 in the regular season, had you not taken him down I really don't think I would have survived the 2nd round. After you stole home court from me in game #1 I was concerned as well. Your team ended up being the only one I lost to twice in the playoffs, so I feel very lucky to have finally survived the playoffs in a league and your team was likely a top-4 team IMO, you just got a nasty division and playoff draw. You will be near the bottom of my list in the division draft rankings and GL against NC in the PPL playoffs, if we both survive then our next playoff meeting will have a little more on the line.

thanks - I will definitely need some luck to take down LeBron and company....

I agree with you about Player X. Kobe is way underrated in this league. He's the guy eleibowitz and I were discussing. In my first season I rode him to the finals, the next season I think it was evil that rolled to a division title with him, the next I lost with him in the 2nd round to felonius because of the foul monsters I surrounded him with, then this season he finally takes a ring. He would NEVER had made it back to us in the 3rd, in such a low cap league and given his recent success IMO he's a solid pick, plus you are almost home on D with him and Duncan.

Congrats Nate.  Drafting you as #1 did hurt me, but not too much.  Maybe cost me 3-4 wins.   It gave you a tough road though and you killed it.  I really thought Clifford Ray and Danny Green were not good enough for the big time.

Badja, hope you come back next year. Yes, you called me out correctly I always predict 50 wins for myself, which before my 50 loss effort had held up for the most part in this league.I'm pretty sure ash is the last repeat winner, i.e. 5 different winners in the past 5 seasons here.I think he had 3 (or more) going when I came into the league. Tarheel took him down that season then mowed me down with Lucas grabbing like 20 boards a game in the finals against my Howard/Kobe/undrafted player squad. Like I stated in the other forum my focus for this team will be a significant board advantage, so the guy I take #1 will likely be really weak in that area. And I was thankful that jkaye took you out in the 2nd even though his team was a tough matchup as well, you very well could have taken me down, like I said all of the breaks finally fell my way this time, which is not something that is likely to happen two seasons in a row.
