I'll join and Take the NY Mets. Can I use Cespedes even though he is not currently showing up on Mets MLB depth chart, but has been inked to a three year deal?? If there are other players like this for any team? Can they be used and twisted or do they actually have to appear on the depth chart or 40-man roster to be eligible?

Welcome aboard.  I imagine by the time the league fills, Cespedes' situation will be resolved.

I'll take the Giants. Are we using the 40 man roster readily available on ESPN, mlb.com, CBS Sports, etc.. or is there some other resource that shows non roster invitees, etc..?

With apologies I need to bail.  Work just got crazy and that's going to persist for a bit, so I just don't have the time at the moment.  But it looks like interest is strong and you guys will fill quickly without me, so the loss is mine.
