Yeah, but given the terms we've previously used, the bet has now morphed from "whose team is better" to "will cheez's team be as much better as expected" - I'm just not inspired by a bet where I'm giving you 20 games. Doesn't seem to be in the spirit of the original tradition.

Maybe if you paid me like we bet last year and I won (as I would have), I'll give you 20 games this year...

How about we just do the my players are better than your players then and forego the team records portion.
