Makes sense. Think we're good then?
Yes we should be good. It probably wouldn’t hurt to send a sitemail out to remind people that the projected stats are what will be checked

$120M: Hit Type Challenge
You must choose one hit type (singles, doubles, triples, homeruns) and build a team that focuses exclusively on it. Every hitter on your team must have a rate (i.e. singles / 100AB) that is or exceeds the number below for your chosen hit type, and cannot have any player that meets the number below for any of the other three hit types.
Hit Type___ Rate / 100AB
Singles 25
Doubles 7
Triples 2.5
HRs 6

300k exceptions... does this apply to pitchers? I.E. can someone use a pre-1930 pitcher if their salary is less than 300k?

Yes

Another question about the $110mm theme. If you have ‘27 Ruth on your first team, can you have 2 or more of his teammates on the 2nd team, or can you only have one? Thanks

Every player you use on your Round 1 roster must have a corresponding player on your Round 2 roster

140M Q&A
As long as we have 40m from each of the 3 decades we choose, there is nothing in the rules about filling out the roster with a few scraps outside those decades?

There is no 300k exception in that theme. All players must come from your three decades

Yes, you must have 40M from each decade minimum but all must be from those 3 decades

I wish it said that in the rules, because it certainly does not. If no 300k exception means that, then I would have no way of knowing that, nor does it seems like it is intuitive, or that it follows. Now I have to completely remake a team I spent an eternity drafting.

'Unless I am mistaken, A 300k exception applying in those 2 different drafting scenarios, mean different things. And again, the rules do not state that all players must come from those 3 decades. Just that 40m must be spent on each decade. Seems like a glaring error, in my opinion.

I can see how the 140M could have been misread if you haven't played many "box" themes. The implied but unstated rule is that you only use the selected decades, but you are right that it's not specified precisely. That said, since you have spent at least $120M of your $140M in your decades, it shouldn't be too difficult to replace any players from the small group you used from other decades.

As for 300K exception, I've always understood this to mean that whatever other restrictions a theme requires, a player under $300K may fall outside them. I don't see different scenarios there, though.

"it shouldn't be too difficult to replace any players from the small group you used from other decades."

True. Most of the heavy lifting is done. I am able to fix this problem with not too many headaches, I 'm sure.

"As for 300K exception, I've always understood this to mean that whatever other restrictions a theme requires, a player under $300K may fall outside them. I don't see different scenarios there, though."

If I only had to worry about 40m from each 3 decade, and whatever I wanted outside that ( like I thought at first & for a long while ), then a 300k exception could be taken to mean players that are applying to the 40m from each decade pool, and not the rest of the remaining pool.

Maybe I am not thinking about it correctly, but that sort of ultra specific scenario I just painted, pops to mind as a purely hypothetical one at this point.

Another thing you said correctly, this is my 1st "box" theme.
