Sneak peak/ spoiler alert: The majority teams are going to be filled after this round... With just one more one-name ballot to come in, we have 59 unique names, only one player selected 3 or more times, and only six players selected twice.

As it stands, 13 teams will be filled, 5 will need one more player, and 5 more will need 2 players (+ the the owner who hasn't submitted his ballot yet, which only needs 1 player).. Round 5 will hopefully be the last round.

Only 4 owners needed just 1 player going into this round. That narrows it down. I think I know who the culprit is :) :) :)

Please check the results to verify there are no mistakes. I have made exactly one mistake in each of the first three rounds, and thankfully they were caught right away..

I understand 72 hours is a long time, but when I've played Scattergories before, the Commish used a 48-hour deadline that he almost always extended, sometimes by a lot.. I thought adding 24 hours to the deadline but making it firm would actually save time, and I think it has.

But I agree we could maybe make the deadline shorter as the draft goes on.. Perhaps move to a 48-hour deadline once there are no teams with fewer than x number of players (6? 8? 10?) What we don't want to have happen is for someone to quit mid-draft because they missed a deadline. But they're less likely to do that if they already have more than half of their roster.

Btw: Only waiting on 2 ballots now.. I would send SMs, but it's been less than 24 hours and I don't want to be a nag. Hopefully the owners will get them in soon, so we can move ahead of schedule.

Good points. Last season was a little rough with multiple owners missing the 48-hour deadline.

So far, we have one match. If the final ballot that comes in doesn't have any matches, we should be able to wrap things up VERY quickly

I’ve never been too awesome at simleague basketball. Is there a penalty for playing a player out of his position? If so how severe? I want to use 03-04 joe johnson as my SG but it’s one of the few seasons he is listed as a SF but want to know if his effectiveness will go down if I change where he is in the lineup

Look at his Position Effectiveness. He's 100% at both SG and SF. You're good to go.
