I sure wish I could've seen them early 1900's guys, but that would mean I'd be dead.

Gibson's reputation had guys on their heels in the box. I'd take him.

Koufax would be my 2nd choice if Gibby was hurt.

Among full-time starters, in the sim I'd take Pedro if the other team didn't have a lot of power or Joss/Walsh if they did.  In real life I'd probably take one of the guys with the best RL ERA+ - 1914 Dutch Leonard & 2000 Pedro blow everyone away.

Hard to go wrong with any of them. Seems like the '95 Maddux might have the lowest ERA, but that '09 Mathewson isn't far behind and he hits well.

Joss and Alexander are top 2 in my opinion.  Pedro and Maddux seem to get hit around a lot more at the higher caps, especially Pedro and his ridiculous HR/9 treatment.

Tough to find roster space for him, but absolutely Icebox Chamberlain for a Game 7. After him, probably Pedro, then Mathewson.
