How are you a rookie and skunk a prospect still with over twice as many posts?  How does one move up?

Or, if I may indulge myself in reading dahsdebater's mind, how are you a rookie with 245 posts when he is still a prospect with 319 posts?  But he was too genteel to pose his question that way.

I suspect that one moves up based on the # of thumbs up/thumbs down posts one has. And apparently you can only rate 3 posts a day.

I gave TrentOnJoe's post a thumbs down, but still didn't advance. I give up.

Actually I had no idea how many posts I had.  Not something I keep track of and I didn't have any prior posts in the thread...  But not a bad thought.  Although I don't see why caring about the forum ratings would be a worthwhile use of my time...

And I gave TJ a thumbs up, so that cancels out Boogs thumbs down...I guess TJ is destined to stay a forum rookie, Hey, maybe if you give someone enough thumbs down they become a AAA, and then a AA, and so on. Enough thumbs down and you are playing in the Taiwanese Professional Baseball League.
