For this league, I’ve divided the NBA into 4 divisions, roughly similar to the structure of the league prior to the 2004-05 season.

(To balance the divisions, I’ve left out the Charlotte Hornets and New Orleans Pelicans.)

To play, sign up for one of the 4 divisions in the forums, then build a $52m roster using only players from teams in your division.

Players from your entire franchise history are fine, so the Thunder includes the Supersonics, the Golden State Warriors include the Philadelphia Warriors, etc.

You must draft a minimum of 2000 minutes from each of your 7 teams. No clones are allowed.

Teams will be aligned into the division they’ve selected, so I need 6 owners to sign up for each division. Two teams per owner is ok as long as your teams are in opposite conferences.

Are clones allowed as long as we follow all other rules? Or no clones?

Hi dBKC, thanks for signing up and for catching a few details I left out of my original post. I’ll make edits. I would say

1) one team per owner for now. If things get slow I’ll consider opening it up to 2 teams per owner

2) no clones

Welcome! Can the Utah Jazz use the New Orleans Jazz: yes. The entire franchise history is acceptable for each team.
