Pretty crazy thinking about it, I was in high school when I joined this site now I am going on 6 years in the Army.

same here.. kinda

Central Office Technician is my official title but my group does remote maintenance/troubleshooting on everything from analog service up to oc192 carriers and everything in between.  We haven't gotten into VoIP yet but I have a feeling that its coming.  Ethernet/TLS is our big "new" thing right now so i'm trying to learn that on the fly as i've been more of a transport guy up until the last 6 months.
