Ya know what? That National Championship game was purely sensational.

Damn good game.

Not sure. Engine seems rigged , too many buzzer beaters

One of the best I've seen in a long time.

The last 90 seconds (when NC brought it to w/in 3) were just insane

Both teams deserved to win.

I watched the game, I thought Villanova played really well in the paint defensively. It's probably why they are national champions. What a shot at the end? It's a beautiful ending as CoachSpud said.

I'm sure the UCONN and Syracuse game will be a great game tonight as well...

Unc had 16 offensive boards and only gave up 2. Looking at is as a percentage.... they grabbed a rebound on 44.4% of their missed shots. That's holy cow great. Nova got 10%. That's holy cow bad.

Both teams had good and bad parts. That's the game of basketball. If you shoot bad from the field, you have to rebound to supplement that or cause turnovers. They did it. They both deserved a win.

UNC also shot lights out from the 3 point line. 64.7% on 17 attempts is massive

Hehe! I wonder if anyone not a UConn fan will be watching. Even the "I like to watch good fundamental basketball" argument sucks, as they don't play anyone who remotely matches up. I think of that Meaning of Life part where the grown men are playing kids in rugby. No knock on trying to recruit and build a dynastic team, it's just no fun to watch.

90 - 40 final score?

Unc had size advantage on there side as a pro. Shooting percentage matter and its how you finish not how you start so Nova deserved to win the game and I am a Ecu, Unc basketball fan!

WE DID IT! WE ******* DID IT!

I'm beside myself today. Class of 2010 here so I was on campus for the '09 final four and do not have the fortune of remembering '85. Love this team. Booth was like our secret weapon this game, Bridges our secret weapon against Kansas. Two of our freshmen were out just about all season with injuries, too, so foul trouble was often a problem with an 8-man rotation. What a game.

One day I'll be an old man and I will look back and say this was the greatest game of my sports fan lifetime.

Congrats Nova fans. Hell of a game.

I worked with this guy a few years back that was a walk on for the 85 Nova team. Used to play pick up ball at lunch time. Dude was a dick though. Took it waaay too seriously.
