When you know you are going to have early entries, but fall way behind in recruiting a player...it's just, completely unrealistic and not intuitive.

I will be back once they've fixed the recruiting(primarily the EE issue, but some others too).

I 100% agree that the old engine favored high prestige teams/conferences WAY too much, but now it's the opposite and it's a nightmare.

D+ Air Force or some D-II team shouldn't be able to go into Texas and get a kid in Austin, even if they pour all their money into it if Texas puts in some decent effort. Sure, B+ Baylor/Texas Tech should be able to, but the pendulum swung to ridiculous and was compounded by the completely foolish EE system.

You'll notice most of the people who "like" or defend 3.0 are people who don't have FF's or NC's on their resumes.

I'm still winning/recruiting fine, but I think the game is just dumb/broken now, but hopefully they will fix it and I'll be back.

FF and NC should not be easy things to have. One shouldn't be stuck grinding out season after season because the D+ school they took can't sign a recruit when a A+/B+ school shows up late in the game. Maybe "realistic", if you pretend that a real-life school would have ZERO contact with a recruit until a couple of weeks before signing day, but it's a poor game to market.

I've said all along that I'd have no problem, assuming that the A+/B+ school dropped a SINGLE AP on a recruit in the first recruiting session, if the bigger schools snatched recruits away from the low level schools in the 2nd session. But the users at the A+/B+ school won't do that. They'll just complain that they should be able to pick off any recruit they like when they show up.

Yeah, it does. Make it if a A+ to B- schools shows ANY INTEREST in the first session that they can steal a player away from a school two grades lower regardless of how many resources the lower level put into the player. But, if A+ to B- showed NO INTEREST in RS1, they're **** out of luck regardless of how many resources they put into the recruit late.

But you know what? That won't be nearly good enough for those A/B school users. You know why? They don't want to spend a single AP on a 3rd option in the first session.
