Most Championships by School - 3.0 Topic

This list shows which schools have won the most National Championships if you combine all 10 of of the worlds, since the inception of HD 3.0

Note: Keep in mind if using this list to decide on a team, a good bit of the success is due to the coach, although location definitely does come into play. In many of these cases, teams with multiple Championships have been achieved with a single coach.

it would be interesting if WIS could find a way to reboot other records starting with 3.0 - its really a different game

I agree. Or at the very least the pre potential and fatigue records.

This will be an interesting list to watch as time goes along. For right now, these results probably still more reflect 2.0 and its power structures than 3.0 though since most worlds are into or getting ready to get into their second season in the 3.0 campaign.

Just updated again. It will be interesting to see when a Mid-Major will crack the list for D1

chap - do you know if any DI schools have gone back-to-back under the new system? I feel like I used to see it happen but now with how EE's are handled and how in general it is tougher to land super class after super class am curious if it has happened yet.

I don't believe so. I just looked at D1 and didn't see any.

I thought I might have a shot in Phelan this year, but an EE has made that next to impossible. Like you said - its hard to string together classes and have the talent stay as upperclassmen.

Grecianfox's Stanford team in Tark is coming off of a 35-0 season, and has some ridiculous talent returning. Probably the best bet at a repeat I have seen

Congrats to Taylorn who did indeed win a his second straight title at Syracuse this year, being the first to accomplish back to back championships in 3.0

Haha I am honestly surprised. Lost my best non-senior scoring guard to the NBA who was on the fence in the 60s big board, which made me more reliant on Freshmen (including one I got lucky to sign in Late period). Had also lost a battle in early period for top target. Hard to expect a repeat with just 10 guys and little experience.

Id be feeling good about my chances next yr but same thing happened again, lost my best scorer on the fence in the 60 on the draft big board. Comes with the territory of winning I suppose.

Not sure there is a better WIS feeling than repeating.

I agree - the only better thing would be back to back undefeated seasons. Congrats on the feat.
