Most Championships by School - 3.0 Topic

I think those are all good areas for recruiting, but I believe that there are also more schools in those areas. And, at this point in time, you also have to factor in that some of these are related to a particular coach. I used to have a list for 2.0, and that might give you more information

North Carolina finally won their first championship in 3.0 I was surprised it took that long.

The0nlyis won a championship with Utah last night. It is the second championship for a Utah team in 3.0

Congrats to mjr33 who won a championship with Denver last night. Mountain West teams have won three championships in 3.0 now. They are the only non Big 6 conference to have teams that have won a championship.

This tells me team prestige still matters.

0nly took a D prestige school to title game in only 4 seasons. And didn't darnoc just lose in a title game too with a low major team?

I think we're real close to some low majors winning titles. Only a matter of time now.

Thanks Chap, there is a pattern with Florida teams now. It is growing. I see Cal doing fine too, but there is that upper east, Vermont-Maine place that seems to get some good recruits too.

UNC and North Carolina have wins listed... is that a double listing, or did UNC win twice, or is it NC State?

Maryland in Naismith - first title of the SportsHub era.....?

Of course, soon the Nat Champs list in HD will be fixed, I assume.....

Wow - I think it should be the same thing. I am 99% sure. I will combine them. I do not remember NC State winning any, and I am sure I would have listed it as NC State if they had. I am trying now to list them exactly as they are listed in HD.

Also, First title for a Puerto Rico team. I don't remember seeing any in 2.0 but I was not tracking it for D2 teams there. but that's a big accomplishment.

Hawaii at Hilo won a D2 title, which is pretty unusual. Good job by MrSlam
