It's not about that. It's about taking the time to learn the game and skill rather than have it handed to you by random recruiting dice rolls.

Laughable. If you've made it to D1, you've learned the game and have the skill to compete.

In the old version, whoever got there first had built-in advantages. You can't deny that UNC was a better option than VaTech. So the guy who joined in S1 and got UNC was always going to have an advantage over the guy who joined in S21, never had a shot at UNC and took VT.

So, yeah, I understand why the old guard hates the fact that they don't have their advantages but, quite frankly, that's a ****** game to sell to the public.

And a lengthy 20+ season stay in DII before landing a Big 6 DI job at crappy Clemson. Clemson was coming off a 14-14 season with a C+ prestige. How could a coach with a C+ prestige team EVER compete with those "gifted" at Duke and UNC....... According to Miketroll that can't be possible.
Somehow beyond ALL odds skinz got them to a championship game and A+ prestige before leaving for UCLA.. So I guess Id rather be a clown than a snowflake who makes excuses that the "system" is the reason they aren't good enough. 51K+ worthless posts and counting......... you rock...

Being a bottom-feeder in the ACC wasn't fun. I had no desire to "pay my dues" and "work" harder so I could "accomplish" more.

The game the grognards liked wasn't popular. WIS was losing customers every year. They tried to do something to keep player retention.

You can hate the changes, you can blame participation trophies, you tell people they aren't as smart as you but in the end the opinion that many of you had was the minority.

It isn't a coincidence that the people most upset about the changes are the people that mastered the old system. Hungry people have revolutions......
