I say 60. Others vary.

I think Chapel said it was 50.

I think it is 60 as well, but have no real data to back that up. That's kind of a guess.

It depends on prestige IMO and I would say 50 to 60. Some even say 40

Having traded recruiting info on battles with other coaches I put the number much higher, > 100.

I think the reality is we really have no clue though with so many more moving parts in recruiting. Remember, not all preferences are equal-some are weighted more than others but we don't know which ones.

Yeah, I wonder about its absolute value as well. It seems like you can rack up 100s of APs, but when another team wants to come in out of nowhere and go all-in it seems like those APs didn't add up to much.

If you've promised a start or minutes prior to doing visits, the relative value of APs to HVs (if there is an absolute relative value, I'm skeptical) is much lower.

It would be possible to experiment on this, find two teams with the same prestige (preferably not an A+ team because you wouldn't know if they were A+++ or not so it might not be close), and find a guy with no preferences, one guy offers one HV the other uses only APs, try to get a balance where you are both equal. This could be done with 2 teams after they are done recruiting with leftover money and the 20 APs you get.
