54 DE... what level is this.

If DI then neither of them can play Cener but the second guy would be a good PF.

If DII then the first guy at center and the second at PF.

Its DI and they did okay last season - one will start and one will be a backup - anyone with views on the choice?

If you're other big can rebound, I would go with the second guy. He's better defensively and can score as well. He's just a - rebounder. The other guy rebounds much better but that's it.

I'm with 2nd guy too.

Definitely 2nd guy - the DEF and ATH gap is too huge.

thanks folks - mostly reinforces my view - although I might experiment a little.

In a 3-2, I go with the second, but I want to make sure I have an excellent rebounding PF to cover for him. The first is a decent 5 in a 2-3. Come to think of it, the second would be an excellent 3 or 4 in a 2-3 setup as well. I'd probably be leaning to starting both of them in a 2-3, unless I have 2 much bettter front court options.

Given the across-the-board rebounding weakness on that team I think you have to start Stone at the 5. I just don't think you can afford to consistently start bigs with 70 and 72 REB in a Big 6 conference. Maybe against teams with a huge proportion of post scoring you could change things up, but for the default lineup I think you need that rebounding.
