For what it's worth, I had these coaches on my short list (in addition to one of the coaches above):
  • dagoat - Took Temple from 7-7 (#51) to a top-15 finish and an 11-3 record, culminating in the Gator Bowl win.
  • ozzball19 - With Navy, went from 9-6 to 14-1 and a top 10 finish.
  • hatroq - Marquette improved 41 spots in the rankings, finishing with a 12-2, top 20 finish.
  • gtduece - Did a fantastic job at Akron last season, going from 9-5 and unranked to a 14-1 season, a bowl win, and a top-15 finish.
