Spahn is a private world with two simple rules for minor league management and anti-tanking. Spahn has low turnover, with at least 30 teams renewing on average from season to season. Below are openings:

AL West
Former Scottsdale franchise - They have a huge salary coming off the books, so there is flexibility to either tear down and rebuild or ramp it up in free agency to go for it this year. That large salary, should the player depart, will result in Type A compensation, too. They have plenty of veteran talent, especially on offense, to make some noise in the division, led by RF Ramirez. C Wilson provides a great balance of offense and defense behind the plate, and has the rare ability of a catcher to start 162 games with great durability. The previous owner traded prospects to win now so the upper minors don't have a lot of talent to work with, but he did have 5 first round picks last season so there are some decent guys still in RL. One of those prospects didn't sign so this franchise will have the 18th and 24th overall picks in this season's draft.

World Rules

1. Winning % Rule
If an owner has three consecutive seasons finishing with a .400 win% or lower, it triggers some possible ways an owner could be removed for failing to stay competitive. If an owner fails to win 175 games total in a three year span, they are automatically removed. If an owner has above 175 total wins then they could still be removed based on subjective opinion of the league and commissioner. If the owner has four consecutive seasons under .400, or if they win fewer than 250 games in a four year period, they are automatically removed.

2. Minor League Management
All franchises are required to maintain full rosters at all minor league rosters, minimum 25 players with more recommended. Those 25 should include an appropriate number of position players and enough pitchers to prevent their pitching staff from falling to 0 stamina for an extended period. There is no expectation to daily management of the minor leagues or of talent level and no minimum winning percentage in the minor leagues. You can have the AI manage all levels of the minor leagues. Violators will be warned and expected to correct deficiencies in their minor leagues at the soonest possible time. If the offending owner fails to correct the problem or becomes a persistent offender that owner will be subject to removal.
