Kansas City. This franchise will be drafting #1 overall this season, due to the big league roster being left pretty much unattended for last season's 2nd half. Don't let the terrible big league record fool you however, the minor leagues actually remained in pretty good shape throughout the year. They were well-stocked and healthy, and both High A and Low A won their divisions, with the worst minor league record being a respectable 70-74 at AA.

Montreal. They'll be drafting 2nd overall this year, which can be chalked up to an owner who went MIA for a large chunk of the season. There's no telling how well they could've finished with an attentive owner, nor how well they can be this year. We did receive help from site support last season, along with a late-season replacement owner, both of whom leant a helping hand to make sure their minor leagues were tended to and their draft picks were signed.

Boston. Drafting #4 overall this season, last year's owner was attentive and looked after his team. He opted not to return due to a difference of opinion over a late season trade.

Texas. Drafting #6 this year. Had consistent ownership for 4 straight seasons, now looking for new leadership after the previous owner struggled to get them out of the division cellar.

Jacksonville. Finished at 81-81 last season, marking 22 consecutive seasons of finishing at .500 or better.

The KC franchise was taken after an owner swap with Gwynn World. And there's another interested party in one of the remaining franchises. So we hope to be down to 3 vacancies soon.

Texas has been claimed. Down to 3.
