The way this world works is you have to have a different strategy since there is no trading. The marginal players in splits turn out to be above average players in this world because no one can make an uneven trade to have better players. You have a much more balanced team not one that had been made desolate with a former manager that made bad trades. This also means you can make a difference very quickly by recruiting the right guys. The waiver wire has much more meaning because you have some talent coming there. I have picked up a couple of players that were starters right away off the wire in this world. Other worlds I would just make a trade to get that talent. I won the world series this past season and this team is not loaded with talent. The past 5 seasons we have had different World Series winners. This means your management in this league is much more important and the teams are much more even so anyone can build a winner. Give it a try with a great bunch of coaches, and with no trades there is little to no drama about who did what to whom because of an unbalanced trade.
