Here's a hint to those that get annoyed by certain posts - don't respond!! It's the same for everything on the internet. Just ignore it and it will go away. I don't understand the anger against rifton - he was just trying to help. I understand that legacy matters, but when you step down as commissioner, you really shouldn't be able to dictate rules. I'll run things as they always were but I will also listen to new ideas, and likely not use them. I'm starting a new thread just for the draft. I'm asking every owner to give me a chance. We are all here to challenge each other and have fun.

Guys I’m going to talk to Amerk if he can run a clone of the DDL, then he can run the DDL. I was the one who said I would take over redboodas team. Let me be clear we are voting on weither or not to run the 50/60 era. If we choose not to run it the draft order will remain the same and we will draft the 70’s Instead. Every time this era comes up its hard to fill and everyone complains. Now I’m trying to do something about it you do nothing. Go vote… write yes or no and nothing else I don’t care why you vote the way you vote.

I have a track record, the ODL was in danger and I picked it up and preserved the league. I empowered the commissioners office and put the rules it run today in place. Then was commissioner for 2 or 3 seasons then turn it over to it’s current commissioner in an orderly manors. The truth is I hated playing in the ODL, I did what I did because it was the right thing to do. My dislike of the ODL was the reason I created the DDL. Which was created by voting over the first 2 or 3 seasons. Again I empowered the members of this league to vote on a matter that many people have asked about. I vote to remove the era because it is a logistical misfit for the commissioner. I haven’t hear a positive comment about the era in the last 3 time it ran.

I have to go set up the draft forum then I’ll make redboodas and my own picks. We need to find owners for 3 or 4 other teams also. If you go and join one of the splinter groups you’ll pretty much end the DDL and splinter groups never last. The best way to preserve the DDL is to stay together. So in short you the owners will preserve or end the DDL. If you splinter the DDL may fail … pull together the DDL will be fine
