Cool experience winterhawk. I must agree Bunning for Demeter didn't work out for Detroit, but just a few years after swapping Bunning,the Tigers were on top of the world. Demeter was long gone from the Tiger dugout when they made their near run in '67 and won it all in '68. Earl Wilson was a big part of both those teams. Wilson is who the Tigers received in return for Demeter half way through the '66. Have to wonder what a top three of McLain, Lolich, & Bunning would have looked like in '67/'68. Bunning had excellent years in '66 and '67 (his two top ERC+ and ERA+ seasons)
