Saddam killed the Kurds to maintain power and strengthen his country. Sounds like Lincoln killed his citizens for the same reasons.
Hitler killed his citizens in order to, in his opinion, strengthen his country, so Lincoln = Hitler.

This is a fun game.

It takes two (or maybe more) to argue.

So, all you guys complaining about MikeT's/BL's argumentativeness need to look in the mirror.

If you just wanna say either one or both are stupid, that's valid. But whining about argumentativeness is pointless....

So I take you believe leaders killing their citizens is a bad thing? I agree. When are you gonna condemn Lincoln?

I think Mike watched Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter too many times. Reality seems just outside his grasp.

You should take it as me making fun of you for over-simplifying the situations. They aren't the same.

Actually just fascinated that a country could tear itself apart when I was relatively young. Read a lot on the CW, specifically, and American History in general. It's not as simple as most think it is.

Lincoln freed slaves is the consensus. But wrong.

Mike likes to argue so much he's willing to say the dumbest garbage imaginable just to keep the debate going. He's a lazy troll, but a dedicated one, too.
Mike said on the HD forums awhile back that he doesn't like to argue.

For real. He said that.

Not only is he ignorant, he's clearly delusional too.

I saw a deranged homeless dude have an argument with himself in NYC a couple years ago. Could have been Mike, not sure.

Freedom for the slaves was an outcome that resulted from the civil war though, so the consensus is correct.

Different circumstances, dumbass. Of course, you're too stupid to understand that arguing over a sim game and American History are two entirely different things.

Says the guy who thinks Lincoln and Saddam were the same.

Really glad I clicked on this thread yesterday you guys. No better way to kick a hangover than laughing at fools on the internet.

They did the same thing.

Truth is, the US in 1860 is about where 3rd world countries are now. It's not that surprising that our leader would have done the same then as a 3rd world leader does now. It's not like trade sanctions would have mattered.

But they didn't do the same thing. Stop being so stupid.

One guy tries to uphold the Constitution by preventing States from unlawfully seceding from the USA.

And the other guy executed women and children.

Same thing guys! Same thing! Lulz
