Sure. But you’re arguing that Judge should have changed his approach in order to get more hits. No one thinks more hits are a bad thing, I’m just not sure it’s possible. Judge’s approach allowed him to obp 422 and slug 600+. He was essentially the best hitter in the AL.
I'd be arguing that he should change his approach to get fewer strikeouts.
Yeah, if you have a magic bullet that would allow Judge to make less outs and still maintain his power, go for it.

I don’t think it exists.
You think Judge couldn't get just "good wood" and drive a ball?

Oh, sorry, nevermind. You don't watch baseball. Todd Frazier just put bat on ball the other night and hit one out. Surely he's stronger than Judge, right?
At 6'7", 285 lbs, it's reasonable to believe that changing his approach to cut down on strikeouts would turn Aaron Judge into Fred Stanley.

Isn't there already a giant Chicken in some MLB park? Don't need a 2nd one.

My favorite Chicken Stanley moment was when he was with the A's and allowed himself to be picked off of base so Rickey Henderson could break the SB record at home. It didn't work, but it was funny to watch.

Mine was more of a Phil Rizzuto moment, when he talked about Fred Stanley hitting the last grand slam in the original Yankee Stadium "with the bases loaded!!" during a broadcast.

Again. This would be a change in approach with a 2 strike count. Seems to work for that dude in Cincinnati. I would think less outs ( assuming he could turn a few of those Ks into hits) would add to his OPB and possibly SLG.

Maybe. Maybe not. Again, Judge hit 284/422/627. That OPS is 187th all time and not too far off from a historic season.

If you think he could have done better...well ok, but let's not pretend that just cutting down on his swing a little with two strikes would have lead to better results. That certainly isn't a guarantee. He had 69 hits on two strike counts, including 20 home runs and 15 XBH. Some of those go away if he's cutting down on his swing.

Judge hit 195/315/416 on two strike counts this year. For context, Jeter hit 228/315/314 on two strike counts over his career. Judge's line is better.

Why the **** is PSRM bringing Jeter into the conversation?

For context, retard.

Arguing that Judge should have made less outs when he reached base over 42% of the time isn't a great argument.

Arguing that a player striking out over 200 times in a season is just fine and dandy is an utterly retarded argument.

Would it have been better if those outs had been in play?

Or are you saying he made outs too often?

The argument has shifted a few times.

We know it would not have mattered if he had made those outs in play. We literally went over every single strikeout for this year.

We also know that he had the second best OBP in the AL this year. So arguing that he made outs too frequently is also dumb.

Which explains your reluctance to answer.

You have a funny definition of "we", as in "we know blah, blah, blah" when literally EVERY SINGLE PERSON (with the exception of Perfessor Dahs) in this thread has vehemently disagreed with you.

That's your lack of self awareness flaring up again.

See what you did there? You didn't actually dispute anything I said.
