Probably true...but the Democratic Party, for whatever reason, thought they could ram through a candidate as bad as Clinton. The question remains, did they learn their lesson or will they nominate another unelectable person in 2020? If the Democrats think they can throw anyone out there and simply run on an anti-Trump theme, they may be surprised (again.)

FDR died before completing his last term...so it was not a full 16...I guess would be the criticism.
