It’s not really a problem. We have an asylum system that works.

One that does NOT involve paying for thousands of people while they go through the process. Glad you agree that way works.
Please then tell us who is going to pay for 1000s of people with zero money while their process takes place.

He already answered you. Some nebulous Gov't agency. He is case in point. This is a YOU problem. Notice how he never agreed to sponsor a family or have them stay at his house.
