In a somewhat similar topic, what's the over under for 18-19 players getting drafted? I'll set it at 11 for now, house gets choice to adjust.
I also have it at 11 as the correct number... but I would guess it hits the over.

I really wanted to use Lebron, who I think is the easiest guy to build around at this cap, and I don't think I've ever gotten to use him. I think you could take Lebron and not pick again until the fifth round and still have a pretty good shot at making the playoffs. But I'm looking forward to using the absurd efficiency monster that is Steph, who I'm realizing offers some major benefits in team-building, too. Really opens up the options to not have to worry about getting 3PA from any other position.

Yeah it is 1) LeBron, 2) Curry, 3) Wilt for me... and I would probably trade down before ever drafting Wilt.

A couple seasons ago one of the dude's drafted LeBron then traded up for Rodman... then I don't think he drafted again until the 4th. The team was sh** but it was more because the late round picks were bad, not because of LeBron. Rodman is a weird trade up pairing for LeBron too imo.

But also, Wilt just won the championship so wtf do I know.

Yeah I've always thought Wilt was pretty much impossible to build around at this cap, then last season smashed that idea all to hell.

OK, I have an unconventional and fun team picked out that I really want to build. Just need to get the guys I want in rounds 2 and 3 and the rest should be easy.

cjok1051 with combined 72.9 AST% and 582 turnovers after two picks. Give cjok a lot of credit, he is always willing to try something new.

Regardless, that was too steep of a fall for Stockton.

With my Harden selection in the late first I had a specific team build in mind. Stockton falling into the second obviously changed that plan.

Went with Duncan again for 1st pick. Was going to grab Magic again with 2nd pick. But Garnett slipping to 2nd round I had to grab him. Duncan and Garnett give me some good options for my next pair of picks.

I coin flipped McAdoo or Gilmore but also the A-train was a little pricey

I have Artis as a first round talent, so it was a no brainer for me. Good news is Nash and AD are cheap together

I was hoping someone with less free money would grab him.

I usually keep track of how much money each owner has remaining to fill out the rest of their need Min/82. It helps me keep track of where everyone else in the draft and prevents me from overvaluing teams that seem loaded but are short on cash. Obviously I can only go off of what I perceive to be each player's best season and I use 19,400 minutes as my baseline. That being said... as it stands now:

Some general musings from me based on other items in this thread or other observations:
1) I cannot conceive of any scenario where I would draft Garnett, Wade, Erving or another yet to be drafted center. I bin them all in a tier of dudes who usually get drafted in the first two rounds but I have no interest in.

2) tarheel1991 drafting Boozer over Jokic confused me. Neither plays good defense but I consider Jokic to be the far superior player.

3) I really wanted something like Gobert/Hardaway for my starting pairing. Ending up with Paul/Pippen I did not see coming. Hardaway predictably fell to where I could have got him, but he didn't make sense next to Paul who I had to take. Pippen is a weird fit next to Paul but I will try and make it work. Chandler helps, although what season I use is down to two options... it depends on what happens later.

4) I love ben's pair and he is right about the lesser (from my opinion) Kawhi season being a better fit next to Giannis. I won a 'ship with the other season but I needed him to be a first banana not a second banana.

5) As usual, I have no idea wtf cjok is doing but it will be fun to see.

6) I knew Beal and Vucevic would be selected, but I had them as mid-third round grades.

7) Biggest reaches by my board (even though I think all three are good players):
George, Paul
Boozer, Carlos
Beal, Bradley

I don't think my board is perfect. For some reason I have Paul George way lower than Dwyane Wade, but when I look at them a second time I am not sure that is fair. It is always in need of tuning.

8) Biggest steals:
Gilmore, Artis
Pippen, Scottie
Ginobili, Manu

That being said, I almost always have an opportunity to draft Gilmore and never do because he is so damn expensive and I trust I can cover the needs with cheaper options.

9) Right now there does not appear to be any over egregious omissions, so great job drafting everyone! I really like NotoriousJ's start. Same with pharrop. Jhsukow could end up pretty solid. dh555 looks supspiciously low on rebounds but the frontcourt is scary. 24k really attacking the glass. mptrey is off to a good start.
