Doc suggested in the main SimLeague forum that he's heard 2019 seasons could actually be on time this year. Do we have any desire to give it a week or so to see if that's actually the case or just cut out 2019 for this leg right away?

I just got in from my 18 hour flight and saw this. I would have chosen another team if 2019 seasons were included. I vote to let it ride until next leg. Everyone will also get a chance to see how normalization works with the 2019 players

As for the 2019 seasons, I'm definitely of the "I'll believe it when I see it" mindset regarding their release. I get the reasoning that someone might pick a different team based on having those seasons, but those seasons would still be available going forward and who doesn't like shiny new toys? I think it'd be fair to allow them but keep 1969, and the next leg we can talk about dropping 1969. I'm not sure why normalizing needs a test run.

I don't really care either way re: 2019 players, just don't want to hold things up waiting for them.

My only hope for picking a team was to use one of the 10 I haven't used yet, but five of them are already gone so blaaaaah.

So last season we floated the idea that once your timed window is closed, picking can go ahead so long as it's in order without waiting for each timeslot to finish. Before we get to timed stuff tomorrow, is there a willingness to implement that this leg?

I'm inclined to go ahead without the 2019 players. We've already started the franchise draft, and as for them being on time, I'll believe it when I see it.

No, I don't think so. Support for this idea was mixed.

Finally got page one updated. Sorry for the delay. Timed schedule in effect tomorrow. newarkwilder is up.
