I feel decent about my team. My minutes left will be filled with low usage, high efficient players that I am pretty sure will be left when the draft is done. Problem is ALOT of teams are loaded so I foresee a lot of parity in this league! Super excited to see how it pans out!

I’m pretty confident that my team could win the ODL.

My overall eFG% is probably a little low for this league. Looking at some of the other teams and they're around 58%. Might need to pick up some higher eFG guys to round out the roster.

Geez...I think your team looks fantastic. Your high efg% is with the right players. Assists may be a little on the low side, but I keep hearing that's not such an important stat as many think.
Two dumb questions: 1) I got a lot of $ left over for reserves (like close to $7 million), is that normal or have I really screwed up? 2) how do you copy and paste the stats above so neatly or do you free type it? (my apologies--I am not a techy and don't have a lot of common sense)

Having about $7 million left is common for this league. I wanted the focus of this league to be drafting the players you wanted, not picking the guys you could afford.

I definitely need to use one of my 4 remaining players on an assist guy who can also back up Lebron. Fortunately, there are a few still out there.
1) I also had about $7 mil left over.
2) I use Google Docs spreadsheet and copy/paste from there.

The cumulative EFG% of my 8 drafted players is 57.79%

Rebounding numbers vary depending on who's in the game, obviously... But starting 5 is 43+% Oreb & 95% Dreb.

I'll try to figure out weighted D after work but i have 3 100 defenders that play 36+ mins each. D at SG is weak (under 60). SF D is between 70-85 including undrafted player.

TO% is probably about avg. Fouls are probably about avg

1801 FT made among 8 drafted players @ 75.7%

765 steals and 932 blocks

With more talent and money, everyone is going to have a great team. That being said, someone has to lose. I have always thought that with leagues like the ODL, the people who can get the most bang for their buck will win. With the higher dollar leagues it seems to me that whoever makes the fewest mistakes will win.

I don’t want to beat a dead horse, but I am going to beat a dead horse.

The whole idea with time slots and a twenty minute window was the time slot, not the twenty minute window. You don’t have twenty minutes to make your pick, you have however long it has been since your last pick. I have been in drafts where I made a pick and then didn’t pick again for two days. I have been in drafts where there was only one person ahead of me and I’m thinking that I’m about to pick and then I pick like 12 hours later. How many people here remember Peggy?

I don’t know what the point of a two hour time slot is. That is taking two days to make it through one round.

Having a specific time slot (20 minutes, 30 minutes, I don’t care) eliminates being one pick away and then having the guy in front of you take 24 hours to make his pick. I know people don’t like refreshing for hours. If you know when you’re going to pick, just get on ten minutes early to make sure that your guy is there. If he isn’t, you still have thirty minutes to make your pick. That is plenty of time. Doesn’t the NFL give teams ten minutes?

Anyhow, I want the draft to go faster, but I want the vast majority to be happy with whatever we decide to do in the future. Also, I was talking about speeding things up the last half of the draft, not round one.
What i'm pretty sure you do not understand is that some of us just can't hop online whenever we'd like. I have a pretty unique job in that sometimes I have a lot of free time during the day and sometimes it;s hard to find 5 minutes to eat. Some days it doesn't matter if I know exactly when my time slot is, if it's only 20 minutes chances are I'll be super busy for those 20 minutes plus 10 on each side of it. That's reality. I've been in dozens of drafts with hour long time slots and they go way faster than this draft. If time slots are less than 30 minutes, I will not enter the league.

There are a lot of very good players that didn't get drafted. $7-8M is stacked with good options that didn't make the cut.
