What no one is including is that Midge gets a 100 point bonus for being in Gryffindor and a 75 point bonus for being in Ravenclaw, plus a 50 point bonus for being in two different houses at once, which is both unprecedented and pretty darned neat. I haven’t crunched the numbers yet, but I don’t think anyone can catch Midge.

With W1 starting the finals first, tarheel has a chance to clinch the championship early. If Ed pulls off the big upset, others have a chance. How much of a chance is somewhat dependent on how tarheel’s W4 game goes tonight.

My team played close to a perfect game to close out the conference championship. I expect an ugly beat down in Game 1.
I'll do my best to make it come down to Game 7 of the last World to finish.

If Ed wins W1, then robusk or I can still win it all if we win two ships. If neither of us wins two, then tarheel still wins it all.

W3 could be for the crown provided things break just right.

If you lose W5 but win W3 and I take you to 7 in W3 + win W2 I could still win. Tarheel would need to be swept. It’s like almost impossible but I didn’t want to account for all the possibilities.

Beating either you or ncm doesn’t seem to be in the cards though. I may not even finish in the top five when I look at it.

Thanks guys! Apparently a season off to recharge my Savage batteries was just what I needed. (That and some luck that squeaked me into a fifth playoff spot and a couple others just out of it.)
