Yay Roanoke!
Still a long way to go to get anywhere close to DeSales status, though.
Tell me about it. At Delaware Valley, I'm in the same conference division with both #1 DeSales and #19 Farleigh.

The teams that I am not kicking out becaue they are ranked here who are in for sure is:
#3 Catholic
#6 Marietta
#4 Redlands
#28 Deleware St.
#5 Medaille
#22 Eastern Oregon
I would love to get some more of the top teams. If anyone want to try and get mswilso2, mwmanley, and andrewfrance to sign up that would be sweet. Sorry to disagree with the ranking but that would for sure give us seven of the top 8 programs. Eastern Oregon is a dynastie with all those National Titles. I will be making up the brackets and telling you who you have to schedule after job applications so you have until then to sign up.
Then seeding will take place the following year because all you have to do then is the 4 team mini-preseason tournaments.
Thanks,
Matt

I'm in. I'll be pretty mediocre with 6 freshmen, but I'm in.

sweet we got 5 of the top 7 now. I will send you a site-mail telling you who to schedule.

Hey alblack, I want recognition for Redlands in the "biggest jump" status, lol.
Looks good ... do you have a formula that you apply or do you just eyeball it?
6/13/2006 2:56 PM
Yes, there is a formula. Points are awarded for your finish in the Dance and PIT each season. The most recent seasons carry more weight.

Nothing for overall record or RPI? Definitely not telling you how to do your job, but I'd think that a team that goes 27-3 and gets upset because of one bad game (or bad matchup) in the NT should be worth more than a 20-10 team with an RPI in the 30's or 40's that manages to win one NT game.

There is definitely more than one way to figure the standings; this is just the way I chose.
There's no reason why you couldn't do your own list. It'd be interesting to see how they differ!

Oops... guess that wasn't clear. I'm in (which we resolved by sitemail anyways).

21 of the 32 'Dynasty' teams have qualified for this season's national tournament. Two more, Fitchburg and Mt. Union, are in the PIT.
12 of the 21 Dynasty teams in the Dance have drawn another Dynasty team as their 1st round opponent. Trying to move up the list are:
DeSales-Johnson C. Smith
Washington- Arcadia
Catholic- Millikin
Lakeland- Maranatha Bible
Hendrix- E. Oregon
Medaille- Delaware Valley
Good luck, coaches!

And if I win my 1st round game with Roanoke, I will once again have the honor of being bounced from the NT by DeSales. Second year in a row I've been in their side of the quarter. What did I do to deserve this?
7/23/2006 3:26 PM
u didn't, but i will be bounced in "my" first ever NT venture
