True story, I have a friend of mine who used to be the kid that everyone would take to the ATM, pick up for card games, etc... His father used to play poker w/ Chip Reese and another future Pro from the Dayton area thru highschool, college and shortly after graduation. His father is pretty good as you can tell by the poker group he ran around with, and he told his son, either you're not going to play, or you're going to learn to play the right way.

Took him down into the basement and played poker straight up for several days in a row until he finally learned how to play properly. I think his old man took like a $100 from him while playing .10/.25/.50 cent poker until my friend finally learned.

I usually hate doubling guards, but doubled Brandt in last nights game, and he still terrorized me. Very good all around game.

Brandt has become very decent player, I wish I had 2 more like him.

2nd night in a row for Brandt. I went with Brandt over Antonucci because of the assist to turnover ratio. Antonucci had 3 to's to go along with his assists.

While he may not win the POTN award, I would like to nominate Michael Emmer of Chicago over Simmy picked Roger Neil. Neil had 15 points, 8 boards and an assist, but Emmer had 15 points, 2 boards, 5 assists, 2 steals while committing only 1 turnover while also holding Antonucci to 1-7 from the field.

ya me too! and I love it when my guys pick another award :)

agreed, this has breathed some life back into the conference.
Are these just the computer generated POGs? or are you looking specifically at the box score and seeing if you can pick a better player than the computer picked?
1/23/2008 8:29 PM
I look at the boxscores. I don't look at the computer generated player of the game, although I am sure they tend to match up some.
